Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
At the Law Firm of James E. Robertson Jr. LLC , we are asked common questions about our services, rates and practice areas. Here, we answer some of those most frequently asked questions.
How far do you travel on cases?
We serve clients residing in Mobile and Baldwin counties, but Mr. Robertson also travels to federal courts all over Alabama to represent his clients.
What are your rates?
Rates depend on the service provided. For example, simple deeds are $100, as are simple powers of attorney. Wills depend on the complexity required. Other services, such as litigation, depend on what is required. Hourly rates range from $200 and up.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. Whether you’re experiencing financial difficulties or a payment plan would be more comfortable for you, we work with clients who want to be on a payment plan for legal services. In some cases, federal law provides for attorney’s fees to be paid by the creditor, mortgage servicer, debt collector or credit reporting agency. We can discuss all this during your consultation.
